This morning I volunteered with my father and the GoodFellas organization distributing groceries to families in need throughout my hometown of Lakeshore Ontario.

I encourage you to help someone in need this holiday season. You never know how much a simple helping hand can affect change in a person’s life…to think my mother was a recipient of these same donations years ago.

Helping those less fortunate is an important lesson in perspective, reminding us how lucky we are to have so much.
