Rule #1 of the TSB Office: Bring Your “A” Game.

Comment below to let us know which outfit is your favorite!

“Weather-proofing this denim shirt & vintage sweater with a lightweight trench.”

“The fellas got me wearing white during the winter… oh and thanks to Vivarati for these awesome socks. ”

“In case you guys haven’t noticed yet, I draw a lot of my inspiration from movies and TV. This week, Top Gun. ”

“Serious Brit-Gentleman vibes here…  Suited up with all three for a frosty day here in NYC.”

Gabe Schulman

Gabe stopped by the studio this morning. I love how he rocks high-end designer gear (Tom Ford shades, Phillip Lim jacket, Gucci scarf, Alexander Wang jeans, Lanvin sneaks) but in a subdued, not in-your-face, way.

Thanks for reading,

    Townsend. Great outfit.

  • Anu

  • John

I wish I could vote everyone!
I’ll probably go for Dan because I have a similar trench (it’s black though; I wish it was navy..)

I really like Gabe’s look and I think he looks a bit younger here (probably because he’s not wearing a suit!). I’m pretty sure Dan has featured these sneakers on a 1piece/3ways one the past too!

  • http://greenspree.ca Andy Collier

Dan for sure on this one!

  • Marcus Forlan

Doesn’t Gabe look a bit like a younger version of Tom Ford –

    • cam

not in the least bc thats michael kors not tom ford

      • Marcus Forlan

Hah – that is who I meant!

  • Nico

Towni then Dan then Wes then Gabe then Alex.

  • Marcus Forlan

Wes. The jacket shirt and sweater pulled together w the pocket square and the whole outfit pulled together w the socks. Damn.

Tho Dan killed it w his look too.

  • In-Out

    Wes then Gabe

  • Veronica

    Towni with the W

  • TO

    Dan. Fresh.

  • Ben

    Wes then Dan.

  • Solomon

Wow! looks like i am dreaming! or maybe there are many friends of Dan or Alex here… I am voting for Wes. You nailed it from head to toe and you killed everybody today!

  • Tjay

    Dapper Dan has this one.
Gabe comes in a close second though, mainly because the guy’s probably rocking over $2000 in the most casual/subdued way possible. Rappers need to take note.

  • Alex

I need to go with Dan on this one

  • mon

I would pick gabe if i could, because none of the tsb men’s outfits today really caught my attention.
but if I had to pick, I’d go with alex.

  • kien

Dapper Dan, love the olive trench, is it from uniqlo?

  • HM

Though I’m really liking Alex’s jacket and Wes’s blazer.

  • ian

towni killed it with the quilted barbour

  • Jimi Brady

Gotta go with Dan. I love that hat.

  • Jakob

Isn’t that Dan’s jacket that Alex is wearing?

  • Les Guthrie

My favorites are narrowed to Dan and Alex. Alex totally nailed it with the Top Gun vibe though.

  • Dave

Wow this is a close call this week lads.

    1. Dan
    2. Wes

  • Ray

    Senor Trepanier!

  • http://www.theseals.com.au Desmond

    Alex – nailed it.

  • Stephen

  • Carlin

  • filipe

    Dan and Gabe.

  • Alex

    Dan! Great sweater!

  • Johann

  • HD

    Dan gets my vote.

  • Jerome

  • Brooks

Dan, with Gabe in a close second. Woulda been Towni, but I feel like the color of the tie doesn’t jive with the rest of the outfit–it’s in that uncanny valley between contrast and matching.

    • Anonymous

I’m giving it to Townsend despite the fact I agree with about the colour of his tie.

I tried out a warm grey tone and a warm brown colour for the tie in Photoshop and both seem to be more favourable for the ensemble.

  • Ace F.

    Wes and Dan!

  • Brian

Tough choice today. Dan’s the man though. Wes is second best.

  • RC

Wes gets my vote….. from pocket square down to the socks.

  • Corey K

    Dan for sure!

  • Brady

    Dan takes it today..

  • Kris

Btw, before I stumbled upon this site, the “rules” of wearing white jeans never reached me. Is this an american thing? I’m pretty sure we don’t have that in most parts of Europe.

  • Kiel

I love subtle stuff like that.

  • Dave

Dan, followed by Townsend. Both great looks.

  • Ian K

Same outfit minus the sweater will be great come spring!

  • Mike

    1) Dan – TIE (love the sweater and hat)
    1) Wes – TIE (socks bring it all together)
    3) Towni (close but the coat bugged me for the outfit and I just felt like the outfit tried too hard to work together)
    4) Gabe
    5) Alex

  • Red

  • RJ

I like Gabe’s outfit. Literally anyone can wear that and look sharp.

  • http://www.twitter.com/iPodschun Derric

Wes. I’m in San Diego so that outfit would work here just about any day of the year.

    • http://www.tsbmen.com Westley Dimagiba

I miss San Diego man, have some in-&-out burger for me.

  • Simon

Im going to go with Towni on this one. Really like that jacket Wes!

    • Alan

The extended length field jacket is pretty cool, I’ll give him that.

    • http://www.tsbmen.com Westley Dimagiba

      thanks a lot Simon!

  • Ali

  • Corin C

    Alex for today

  • Luke

Tough call today but my vote goes to Dan.

  • Alan

Dan today. If it was spring, then Wes – but it’s not.

Without being too harsh, Towni is not giving off Brit-gentleman vibes here. I know he has votes here so fair enough to a point, but I’m not going to let that outrage pass without some comment. There’s several aspects to that outfit that just wouldn’t get done in the UK, or at least not by anybody with half a clue.

    • Simon

I kind of see what you mean, this certainly isn’t a definitive British look and definitely not for someone Townis’ age. However, as British shooting/country styling goes, he wouldn’t look too out of place on a country estate here in Yorkshire. Can you elaborate a little on, ‘that just wouldn’t get done in the UK”

      • Alan

The windowpane pattern on the 3 piece, the choice of shirt, the close colour matching of the tie to the field jacket are all quite American in approach.

        • Simon

Some very good points! I couldn’t agree more about the shirt. While the window pane pattern might be seen as an American style, it isn’t that dissimilar to a tweed overcheck pattern. This simple check pattern is sometimes referred to as an estate tweed because country estates would often commission their own unique patterned tweed for their gamekeepers to wear while hunting. These colours were often similar to the vegetation on their estate in order to camouflage themselves.

          • Alan

Yeah, the line between ‘windowpane’ and ‘overcheck’ can be a thin one, and I have a waistcoat-trouser set in dark grey that isn’t dissimilar. That isn’t what breaks the look here – the shirt and tie are the key points, but the windowpaning accentuates the american feel of the look.

The tweed thing is also interesting. These almost-monochromatic ‘city tweeds’ are also possibly somewhat of an American innovation – there isn’t a lot of pattern to ‘overcheck’ so it basically becomes windowpaning.

  • AK

Dan wins for the trench in non-trenchy colors. Alex is a close second though. He looks like a bad-ass today.

  • Domino

1 vote for my man, GT (Goran Trepanier).

Box score: 34 points (lightweight olive trench) ….14 dimes (Capulin leather alpine boots).…13 boards (fly vintage sweater). It’s the new triple double, folks!

“Get him in a photo and he’s trouble…..last week ****ed around and got a triple double.” :)

  • Luke

    Towni, then Dan.

  • Josh

  • Kyle

While all the fellas are lookin’ sharp, it’s Dan for me followed by Townsend in a close second.

  • Sergio

Dan due to the every day look although Wes is a close second.

  • Kevin

  • cam

  • DJ

    towni. damn.

  • Benjamin

Gonna have to go with Alex on this one. (minus the haircut)

  • Rick

Wes wins – those socks bring the whole picture together. Great choice. Without the socks he looks ok, with the socks he knocked it out of the ballpark. I own some Vivarati socks -not that style though :( – and they have some nice styles. Quality is great too

Dan – I really like that trench. Seamless.

  • Ben

Towni kills it, although Wes is second

    • http://www.tsbmen.com Westley Dimagiba

first loser you mean =( lol

      • Ben

Haha! It’s a tight race, the style game. Your denim jacket looks always kill!

        • http://www.tsbmen.com Westley Dimagiba

hah all good fun Ben, thank you!

      • Marcus Forlan

  • EL

Wes. The socks! Nailed it with that detail alone.

  • LouCaves

Maybe because my psyche is focused on how cold it is here in Chicago that my choice is biased towards being as warm as possible.

    Vote: Townsend

  • Adam

I say Wes, because I’d love to start wearing some white in the winter, loving that trend. Also like Dan’s, because I want that sweater! I mainly pick these based on who makes me the most jealous…haha. It would be great if you guys would include a breakdown of who makes what for each outfit! Then I could try to put a pricetag on my jealousy…

  • Sundown aka Bob

    Voting for Dan.

Wes, I really loved your outfit today, too. Those socks are the shizzzzzzz!!!

  • Khalid

Alex this time… pleasing colour scheme, neat yet comfy shape, and for that awesome dimple sans tie.

  • Boris

I think for today Wes was the most stylish,i don’t know i maybe a sucker for layering and especially v-neck sweater and a shirt.Throw in a blazer and i Die! :D

  • http://www.backdownsouth.com Back Down South

  • Matt

It’s a toss up between Dan and Townsend but I gotta give it to Dan for the on point layering!

  • Dex

Dan is the best today. That’s what I would to rock around campus today.

    • Dex

      would like to* whoops

  • William

Alex! Perfect combination of shades of brown, and that leather jacket is a killer.

  • http://bourbonbitterssugar.tumblr.com Nick B.

Im going to with Alex on this one…

  • M-O Amyot

That navy and light gray combo is absolutely amazing plus he’s rocking the stripped socks like a baws!
