Big fan of Wale D’s look. The Honorable Mention…the double edged sword of competitions. “You’re good…but just not good enough.”

  • Marshall Mulherin

Wow I didn’t know I was that close! Thanks for the love Mr. Trepanier.

  • http://wideeyestightwallets.tumblr.com Adam L.

I do not envy your task of narrowing down these submissions!

  • Changingman

Yes all of these are very helpful and inspirational for me. Even if im not into cargos, I can just substitute with another kind of pants. Are those doc martens Patrick is wearing?

  • Bill

Most of these are better than much of the top 10.

    • http://tsbmen.com Dan Trepanier

It’s art, not science. All a matter of opinion.

      • Not Dan Trepanier

I agree, but some of these make a few of the Top-10ers look like they’re just finger painting.

    • Marcus Forlan

All these looks are also very strong, but I would say they are too close to call compared to top 10. I can see why the TSB team had debates late into the night – glad I am not charged with picking the top 10.

TSB Team – mebbe make it top 20 going forward??

      • Noah

I completely agree – how did Vlad, Joseph M., & Lucian beat these guys? A breakdown of what you like about the winners vs. the honorable mentions would be very illuminating.

On another note, I’ve sent a couple emails that never got responses – I hope you received them! Thanks :)

  • John

I think I like some of these entries more than the ones on the top10! Especially Aaron, Patrick and Wale! Awesome looks!

    • Marcus Forlan

Ya, I thought the same about Aaron, Patrick and Wale. Could easily belong in the top 10. But this is way too close to call man. Stiff competition.

I’m thinkin if Aaron tailored his coat to fit closer (and / or added another layer) he would have made the top 10.

Patrick’s look was too close to last month’s winner :-).

Corey and Marshall – waaay too young to have such good style! lol.

      • John

I wouldn’t look much older if I shaved! Guess it’s one of the advantages of having a beard!

  • Joe

Can’t believe Arron D didn’t make it. Would have had my vote. The other honorable mentions are pretty strong, hopefully y’all aren’t giving yourselves ulcers trying to narrow down these fields to ten, can’t be easy. Hopefully it hasn’t/won’t come to blows.

    • Arron

Hey thanks everyone for the kind words. Actually the jacket should be tailor but it would be way to pricey. Everything on me was thrifted but the jeans, I was actually surprised I made it as far as I did. I’m stoked ! The photographer Katie Shuler did an excellent job on the pictures. You’ll be seein more in the months to come.

Good luck Arron – nice to see another example of dressing well on a budget.

        • Arron

Thanks joe can’t wait for this month.

  • Kid Icarus

I love the shawl neck cardigan on Marshall. I have a similar (if not the very same) one from Old Navy. It finds its way into many outfits.

  • AK

Wow. These are all fantastic looks. Digging Joseph’s look – especially the wingtips and pants.

Pretty sure I spot a Curated Man as well. His style is always on point.
