First time wear on this newest addition to my bespoke suit collection.
I have to admit, seeing Towni & Wes break out their Fall wardrobes in these posts is making miss NYC, or at least hope it continues to cool off here in LA.
For now, I’ll keep rocking the lightweight fabrics while leading the charge for the comeback of the suit in LA. We’re trying to bring old Hollywood glamour back!!
The fellas behind Marshall Anthony sent me a few ties last year, but they got buried in the cross-country move. I just opened a box of ties the other day and this one really stood out.
Unlined, self-tipped, hand-rolled edges, beautiful lightweight wool/cashmere…this thing is perfect! One of the best ties I own, easily.
There’s an old saying: “a $180 pair of shoes will last you twice as long as a $90 pair of shoes, but a $360 pair of shoes will last you a lifetime.”
Well, I bought this $500 pair of shoes on eBay for $200 seven years ago, and they are still in amazing condition. They could use a shine though – perhaps I’ll wear them on my next flight (Toronto Oct 30th-Nov 4th… holla at me!).
If you travel a lot, airports are the best place to sit, relax and get your shoes shined by a professional.
