Here’s our list of the 20 best gifts that any sartorially minded man will appreciate (bonus: for most of these suggestions, it’s one size fits all).

Happy Holidays!

gift guide 2013 1

1. Ralph Lauren Polo Red eau de toilette, $76

Gifting a scent can be tricky since scent is so personal, but you can always trust Ralph Lauren to create a quality product that any guy can appreciate. Its new Polo Red is a fiery blend of spicy red saffron, fresh red grapefruit, and deep redwood.

2. “I am Dandy” by Nathaniel Adams & Rose Callahan, $45.99

Our friend Natty put together this amazing book that any style enthusiast will love. He and photographer Rose Callahan traveled around the world to profile some of the planets most stylish, and dandy, men.

3. ‘P3 Retro’ Sunglasses by Randolph Engineering, $149

If he’s a stylish guy chances are he already has a pair or two of quality sunglasses; probably one wayfarer style, and maybe an aviator. That’s why these are perfect. It’s a classic design that looks good on many faces, but the round shape is just different enough to be a perfect addition to his collection.

4. Slim Shrunken Leather Card Case by Frank Clegg x Dan Trepanier, $145

An updated wallet is always a great gift for the style conscious man, especially when it’s slim, expertly crafted in the USA, and designed by yours truly ;)

5. Sterling Silver collar bar by David Donahue, $35

Chances are your stylish guy already has a tie bar. Been there, done that. Give him this sterling silver collar pin to up his anti in the accessory department. With this slide-on style he doesn’t need special collars to give the dandy look a try.

6. Fujifilm X20 Digital Camera, $499

I asked our photographer Alex to recommend the best camera at a reasonable price, here’s what he said: “This bad boy is on my Christmas list. The classic design matched with the fantastic optics and image quality make it an ideal everyday carry for beginners and professionals alike.”

7. Shawl Cardigan w/ Suede Elbow Patches by Club Monaco, $109

This is one of those gifts that he will appreciate more on more over time; a versatile belt that can be dressed up or down. I have this belt and absolutely love it.

10. ‘Hard Cream’ Hair Pomade by Baxter of California, $18

I’ve been experimenting with hair product for over 10 years and I’ve finally found the perfect pomade. This “hard cream” combines the advantages of a cream styler – healthy, soft, smooth finish – with that of a pomade – strong hold with light gloss. If he wears hair product, he’ll love this stuff.

For the Ipad carrier, go with this handsome menswear-inspired sleeve in wool felt & Norwegian Elk leather. Form meets functions here in a smooth minimal design with functional exterior pockets.

Every style guy loves a new pair of socks, especially one that’s perfect for the winter season in a beautifully-colored wool fair isle pattern.

15. Gillette Fusion ProGlide Styler 3-in-1 Razor System, $18.47

For the well-groomed guy (or the not so well-groomed guy) the 3-in-1 Fusion ProGlide Styler is the only tool he’ll need to keep his facial hair in check. Also great for the guy who travels often, or who’s been searching for a better method of ‘manscaping’.

16. Cotton Flannel Pocket Square by Armstong & Wilson, $55

For the accessory enthusiast; surprise him with your taste in squares with this beautiful plaid flannel number by our friend Ontario over at Armstrong & Wilson.

18. Jambox Wireless Bluetooth Speaker by Jawbone, $149.99

For the music lover/tech guy/man on the go. Allow him to bring the party anywhere he goes with this powerful wireless speaker that easily connects through his ipod or smartphone. Get it in his favorite color combo, or stick with grey & orange to represent his favorite website, TSBmen.

19. Medium Canvas/Leather Travel Bag by Filson, $325

For the traveler, a carry-on sized duffle bag that is made in the USA and built to last. It’s a handsome, classic design that’s also highly functional with exterior slip pockets for quick access to necessities.

20. Italian Leather Chelsea Boots by Johnston & Murphy, $175

Nice list, but the link for the club Monaco sweater is the same as the camera link.

  • Michelle Johnson

this site actually has pretty legit jeans, surprising considering they’re super-inexpensive…..talking $25-35 a pair here…. 20jeans.com. I also used twenty10 promo code to receive 10% off orders over $100!

    Some great suggestions there Dan!

I will say I wish you had an individual picture above each description instead of one big one at the top, I kept having to scroll up and down to see the item and then read what you wrote about it.

That would have been better! We could have organized them by price as well that way… Ah well, you live and you learn. Next year we’ll organize them for an easier user experience.

      Thanks for the tip,

I’m using my iPhone so maybe it’s easier on the computer though

Awesome list. Out of curiosity, have you tried Baxter of CA’s Soft Water Pomade? That’s what I love and use, but I hear the hard cream option recommended much more often, wondering how they compare. Also, Dan, saw your gift guide on Cool Material as well, good stuff!
