Great pictures, especially to inspire those to dress a little more creative when it comes to men’s fashion; even more so with certain accessories!

I never realized how different a pair of boots can look with a different outfit, and vice versa. Excellent example of all of the different styles.

IMG 034 is my favourite, although I like very much the red laced boots:)

I like them all. Well done.

I love this post completely. Keep inform us! :)

    Dan,

    Great post!

What do you think of Native Shoes? http://nativeshoes.com/

  • THUMBS

GREAT PICTURES! I definitely need to step up my boot game!!! but i have one important question, can i have one pair of your boots?! Seems you have plenty to share!!! haha

  • HBoss

Nice boots, but the absolutelly best pic is the 6th. All of the desert boots are also nice.

  • AggieK

I love the picture of you and your mother and your western boots!

  • Khalid

Dan, I know you tend towards 7.5″ leg openings. (Yes, I’m paying attention, professor!) Does this hold true when you’re all booted up? Thanks! :-)

      Hahah.
Yea, I like the fit of my pants to be consistent. I’m not a fan of boot cut jeans which are wider at the bottom and meant to cover the boot.
I typically go cropped or rolled to show off the boot, rather than hiding it.

      Best,
      Dan

Some of the looks are too put together.
    I guess less is better.

    • http://www.thestyleblogger.com SB

Depends on your sense of style. Certainly less can be more.

  • Abel Medrano

Definitely the cowboy boots….are those Lucchese boots?

  • Kyle Norville

Is it wrong to say every picture was my favorite? Especially the LL Bean Signatures. That whole look is dopeness.

    • Charlie

      Completely agree in every way.

The white chucka boots are the best! 2,7,16,26,28

Hey Dan, been a reader of the site for quite a while now. I myself am looking into buying some new boots (for Canadian winter) so they have gotta be warm! Anyway, could you please give us some information on the boots? Specifically in looks 14, 15, 20, 22 (my favorites) Keep being inspiring.

  • HarrisonK

    2, 9, 16, and 24 are all flawless.

I think some of the looks are way to casual. In my option, some of the super casual looks lack a sense of care and organization.

  • Charlie

Look 4 has been my favorite look on the sit for a while now. love the suit/boot look on all of your posts especially your last one. Need to find those charcoal flannel pants somewhere because they are the most versatile winter pants ever and they look good with everything. Also love 10, 13, 18, and 25.

  • Jack

Is is just me or do those Danners look out of place? I’d been contemplating buying some for a while but just now decided not to. All the other options highlighted here are much more attractive and comparably priced.

I’m not sure why everyone is suddenly co-opting them either. They seem better suited for granola-heads hiking Mount Rainier than dudes walking city streets.

On the whole everything looks great, especially that GI-green parka. Really impressive stuff.

  • ian

Sorry for the previous question, I found my answer in look six, I plan to use the same socks in my look!

  • ian

    Hey Dan,
Awesome post! I was wondering what your opinion of tucking pants into socks with boots is? Work wear trend taken too far, or can is work?

  • RH

Any time pants are tucked into boots it screams ‘trying too hard’ to me. Especially with the cowboy boots. I’m all about the ‘boots with suits’ look though. Love the look.

Every look with your Scarpe Oxblood boots is a cut above. Managed to find a nice affordable pair for myself but they don’t look nearly as sharp as yours. One day…

Also like the low-cut LL Bean boots, wish they shipped to the UK I want a pair for when it snows.

  • Mxolisi Ngonelo

Those John Varvatos, and Alexander McQueen corset inspired boots are my favourites, no doubt. How you’ve styled tghem as well is what completes your whole look. The chunky-belted cadigan, and that tailored navy blue trench; any other footwear would be an egregious faux pas.

    Still loving your work.

  • Adam

What are those boots in the 5th look with the snow?

  • TO

I tend to be partial to desert boots, so I’m gonna go with the light sand joints from look two.

But I can’t wait to invest in some dress boots!

  • Alex

I dig the boots in the first and 15th look, could you give some details about those?

  • Shawn

Any chance you can repost the details on the boots? There are more than a few I need to add to my wish list.

  • Ambyr

I love your cream dressy boots and the streetwear kicks. They’re both very different from each other but add a good sense of style to your looks.

    That was amazing.
    And I don’t even have a footwear fetish…
