The tail end of Winter is lingering and giving us a few more days to work in some layering. Try a down vest over a tailored jacket as a nice high/low transitional look.
Gabe (as feature here and here) and I give a few examples below.
1. Weekend in the LES

It’s almost Spring but there’s still a chill in the air from Winter. It’s a perfect time to break out Spring looks, with one extra layer for warmth.
A knit blazer is soft and casual, making more appropriate for the weekend than the office.

With a more casual jacket, like this knit with patch pockets, flipping up the collar/lapel under the vest gives it an element of non-chalance. Here Gabe wears it more as a sweater than tailored wear.

- Brown shades by Marc Jacobs
- Brown down vest by Zara
- Navy knit blazer by Zara
- Blue cotton t-shirt by H&M
- Brown cargo pants by Maison Martin Margiela

Do you remember the brand of your plaid scarf ?
Greetings from France

Love the Matsuda shades in look #2 but I can’t for the life of me find them online. Any idea where to look? Or comparable shades in the same style?
Love every look especially look# 2 casual Friday. Love Gabe’s outfit in look 3. Bring back the pleats. Very stylish. But Gabe you should smile more.
I love this site. Visit every day and always excited when something new is up!
I loved the mix of jeans with a gray suit and black vest, awaiting the Brazilian winter to use this combination!!
Love the layering on casual Friday. And those rooftop shots are gorgeous. New York… I miss you!
