    Want to stand out from the sea of grey, black and navy suits that takes over NYC in the fall/winter? Try a tan corduroy. I promise you will receive compliments, plenty of them.

    I love seasonal suiting. The majority of my suits are two-season or one-season fabrics. I have a lengthier post on the advantages of seasonal clothing coming soon, but the best part about fall/winter suits (other than weather-appropriateness and the feeling of unveiling a new wardrobe for the season) is that you rarely have to cover them up with the same-old overcoat. With a sweater, scarf, hat, gloves, and wool socks I can wear this corduroy suit even on those frigid days (provided I’m not hanging outside too long).
